Article 19 of Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the United Nations advocates the freedom of expression — the freedom to know and the freedom to speak. The booklet reports 5 real-world examples from the USA (Open), Malaysia (Restricted), and China (Crisis), based on five criteria — Digital, Civic Space, Media, Protection, and Transparency; in English, Malay, and Chinese. The booklet is titled ‘Glass Heart’, mocking those in power who censor to mask the fragility of their ego.
